How many hypnotherapists are qualified at the advanced level worldwide?

Currently, there are only 76 hypnotherapists worldwide who have achieved this advanced level of qualification.

Do I need any experience or prior qualifications?

For this course - Advanced Practitoner Training -you need a prior Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy.
 
For the Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy, you do not need any experience or prior qualifications.

What will I be able to do when I qualify?

1. Confidently handle specialist or complex cases.
2. Have a wider understanding of which questions, inductions and interventions to use, depending on the client.
3. Have scientific evidence of clinical trials at your fingertips.
4. Run your own peer support groups.
5. Apply for Advanced Practitioner status within the GHR, if you have already been a member for at least two years.

Your tutor, Jennie Kitching, is a Senior Advanced Hypnotherapist - the highest possible qualification within the field - with over 20 years of hypnotherapy experience ready to pass on to you. We have trained more hypnotherapists to the advanced level than any other school, and more importantly, we really enjoy doing it.
 
As Seniors of the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council, we are one of only 11 schools worldwide and 7 schools in the UK that is approved to offer this level of training, and have been doing so for a long time. We'd be honoured to train you, too.

Yes. By ensuring that our course meets the strict criteria, set out by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council, we are able to offer students the Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy validated by The Council.

Like the General Medical Council, the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council is a STANDARDS COUNCIL created to maintain professional standards and has the largest membership and is deemed the most effective in its dedication to have hypnotherapy recognised and supported officially by the government. 
 
Many trainers and therapists are academically very qualified but there is a big difference in knowing your subject and being able to impart that knowledge to others. Some trainers have very little experience in running a busy practice. Looking back, I would ask the following questions now, if I were seeking hypnotherapy training.

Will I get letters after my name?

1. You get AdvDipH after your name.
2. GHR registrants of two years or more can also apply for ADPRAC status.

When can I start?

You can start right now with the self-study option. This course is a rolling self paced course so you can complete it as fast or slow as you like, within a maximum of 12 Months, in your own home.

Is there support?

Yes. We offer email, text and phone support and zoom or skype calls where you can ask questions and we can give you practical support.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. We are very flexible with our payment options.
 
For the in-person course, you can pay for each weekend separately, providing funds are received 48 hours before course commencement.
 
For the self-study option, you can pay per workbook to suit your finances. There are six workbooks, so you can pay for each part as you go. As long as the questions are answered within 12 months, you can take all the time you need.

How long is the course?

With self-study, you are required to complete the workbooks, reflective journal and vignettes within 12 months from your commencement.

You can work at your own pace, as fast or slow as you'd like.
