Everyone who is of Professional good standing will be on some sort of register, just like our doctors and solicitors, for example. This Profession has a regulatory body that upholds standards and protects the public from wrongdoing. A professional body ensures that members of its register stay up to date with the latest technologies and requirements to continue that status. Our courses qualify you with the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council’s Register, the ‘GHR’. If you continue to train with us in-person, for an accumulative 9 months, this then gives you the ability to register with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council*, which is recognised by the Professional Standards Authority. The Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care promotes the health, safety and wellbeing of patients, service users and the public by raising standards of regulation and is an independent body, accountable to the UK Parliament. You could expect to pay triple the cost of this course if you pursued each of these qualifications separately. Also, there will be aspects of the other methodologies incorporated into the Diploma, as it benefits and enhances your hypnotherapy training.

Jennie Kitching qualified as a professional Assessor and Trainer way back in 1994, which means as of 2022 she has been assessing and training people to professional standards for 28 years. Now, as a Senior Advanced Practitioner and Teacher of the Advanced Diploma, Jennie holds the highest qualification in the Profession and is called upon regularly to deliver talks and workshops worldwide. She is devoted to furthering the Profession and helping as many people as possible become confident and competent professional clinical hypnotherapists in order to help remedy the mental health crisis we are experiencing, as well as to give full and rewarding careers to those who wish to help others.

It’s good to talk. It's wonderful to listen. Though how we feel we are received is important, and what we think is happening in the head of the listener can affect the success of any interaction. Throughout the course, you'll be taught to spot the right things to say - and how to say them - with knowledge of sub-modalities, analogue marking, eye accessing cues and micro-expressions. This means that after qualifying, you won't need to keep depending on hypnosis scripts, and you can connect with your clients on a deep level of understanding that they likely have not experienced before. ​ Though you'll be given plenty example scripts and useful lines to memorise, your future sessions will be far more effective when you're able to understand where your clients are coming from and what needs to be said - and more importantly, what you shouldn't be saying. These communicative skills will not only improve how you connect with clients, but with your co-workers, friends and family too. Jokingly, you may even end up being called a 'mind reader'.

It is a requirement of the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council that you attend group peer support sessions for two years after qualifying as a Professional Clinical Hypnotherapist. This is to maintain standards and to keep your skills up to date. We give you this free every month for the first 6 months after you have trained with us. Most of our Graduates stay with us for all the years thereafter too, as they enjoy being with likeminded people and sharing their skills and abilities and helping one another by discussing hypnotherapy issues. For those 2 years following your Graduation, we offer you 1-to-1 supervision tailored especially for you to discuss client issues and your own development. 1-to-1 time is available at a modest cost.
